Ok, I know that I'm late for a post on this....

But it's summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy. This summer feels like it is going by sooooo fast. I kinda wish it would go a li-t-tle slower, if you know what I mean. Sometimes I just laze around all day, and then, before I know it, the day is gone, and I'll never get it back. Doesn't that make you want to do a bunch of awesome stuff that you've never done before? Like, see the Pacific Ocean, go skiing, travel to the other side of the world, and all that stuff. I wish I could, but I have to do school, take care of my dogs, and things like that.
Well, back to summer. I think that this is one of the best summers that I have had in a long time. I have achieved many things, like take short showers (that was really hard), do my school in half an hour instead of two, start liking the zoo again (I never liked the zoo because I thought it was boring. The animals never really did stuff, and we went to the same zoo over and over again. But now, I take pictures of the animals there, and I love it!), I found Arwen's tug-of-war rope, and I am now addicted to Chris Daughtry music. Talk about achievements!
I am not looking forward to the start of the school year, though. Although I have been doing school all summer, we are going to start hard core school again, not just the bare minimum. Ugh! Also, my friends are all starting a bunch of extra-curricular activities, so they are not going to be available after my half hour of school each day. Lacrosse, Band, and Soccer are included in these.
Well, even though summer is drawing to a close as I write, I can't be too unhappy about the next school year. Holidays and birthdays are coming, along with happiness and sadness, which I'll just have to meet sooner or later.
I love life!

Ok, sorry I haven't been on in a while...

But I just can't think of anything to write about, as before. And before that. And before that. You get it.

And now, since I couldn't think of anything else to write... CEREAL!!!!!!!!!

My dad said about a week ago that, when he was a kid, he ate a cereal called Quisp. Why an alien is on the front of the box, I have no idea. Why he is carrying a gun, I really don't know. And, what is that red thing hanging off the side of his body? Is that a holster? If it is, it's mighty strange! I like his suit.

What I like about this box, is that it actually says that the cereal inside is sugary, leaving no doubt to what the "quazy" energy inside is from.

Ps- I have decided what I want to be for Halloween.

I Was Not the One Who Traveled...

But my brother and dad were. They just got back from a trip to Thailand, quite an adventure if you ask me. I wish I could have gone, but I don't think I could have stood the 37 hour plane trip.

While they were there, my dad called in to the radio station that he works at, to try to get sponsors for these poverty- stricken kids at Compassion International's projects. All of the 300 kids got sponsors in one week! That means, now they can go to school, learn about Jesus, teach their families about Jesus, and have enough food to eat every day! All of this for the kids who had been raised to worship and pray to, their dead ancestors.

While they were there, Justice and Dad went to this elephant camp thing. All of the elephants there were specially trained to do something weird. Some even painted better than I can! To see a video of this, go to my dad's blog at http://www.branthansen.typepad.com/. It's crazy! At the elephant camp, my dad says the employees were geniuses for making money.

Along the trail for the elephants and their riders, were little food stands to buy treats for the elephants. If you didn't want to buy the food along the trail, the elephant was trained to reach up, over his head with his trunk looking for food, to make you feel bad and buy food at the next stand.

The pictures the elephants painted were money makers too. So was the elephants' poo even! They use it to make picture frames for the picture of you on your elephant. Those people are geniuses, I tell ya, geniuses.

Gabriel, not Gabe, Gabriel.

I have a new baby cousin!!!!! I found out yesterday when my mom just comes up to me and says that my aunt Erica has given birth to a baby boy named Gabriel. I was so surprised! I hadn't even heard that Aunt Erica was pregnant!!!!

My mom showed me pictures that my uncle Dan sent by email. The doctors had had to cut Gabe out of his mom using surgery, so his face was really round, since it had not been squished while coming out.

Mom told me that, when she had called the baby Gabe, Uncle Dan had said, "No, not Gabe, we don't want him to be called Gabe. It's Gabriel."

I am so excited, I will have pictures soon. Gotta go spread the news!!!!!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why I Haven't Been Posting

All this week my parents have been on a cruise, so I went to my friend Rebekah's house. On Thursday and Friday we went snorkeling with some other people, including my other best friends, and Rebekah's grandparents. On Thursday, we went snorkeling at a beach called Coral Cove. There were so many fish!!!! Purple, green, and pink striped, thin, fat, yellow, blue, big and small. It was incredible! Of course I thought it was tame after snorkeling in Key West, but that changed very soon.
When I was busy looking at the amazing rock formations, I saw a gigantic, black, lump coming towards me. I was so scared that I screamed, and looked up. I saw a huge manatee about two feet away from me! I was almost paralyzed with fear, but, too late, I realized that it wouldn't do anything to me. This all happened in about two seconds.
After that, I swam, screaming "Manatee! Manatee!"at my friend's dad and Rebekah's grandpa. They were like,
"Oh, yeah!" They didn't do anything else. Hmmpfh. I don't mind so much, but the only thing that I regret is that I swam away before I could realize how peaceful and beautiful it was.

Sorry I haven't been posting....

I acknowledge that I have taken this picture from my friend's blog. She will be mad at me.

Sorry that I haven't been posting, I moved Sunday before last, and have been really busy ever since. Also, I would have posted, but while "trying" to hook up our phone, Comcast disconnected our internet 3 times and wouldn't fix it for a while. Sorry 'bout that.

You might be sick of my posts about my new house, but I have to post just a little more.

My room is smaller than I remembered it to be after I toured the house. Darn. At least I like it! I even like it more than my old room!!!! My friend Hannah had to be pessimistic about it. She said that she doesn't really like it as much as my old room. She seemed rather sad for me, but I don't need sympathy! I LOVE my room!!!!! :)

I find myself to be going outside more often, now. This is partly because I am living on the ground now, and not on the small, cramped second story of a three story house, and because I keep my scooter on the patio. I see my scooter, want to scoot, and so I ride around on the patio. I realize that it would be a lot more fun outside, so I go!

I just love the feeling of living on the ground!!!!!!!

I don't have anything to post about...

But people want me to post, so here it is:
UPDATE ON MY LIFE-
I have figured out something really cool on my disconnected cell-phone- how to make speaker turn on, and how to do useless voice commands.
Some people came over last night to look at our house because we are moving. Pretty neat.
I have just read a post on this blog, and I think you might like it. The writer is my brother's friend.
I am now addicted to the Cosby Show. I watch it every day.
I am not as addicted to American Idol anymore, because of the Cosby Show.
My dad has installed SimCity 4, and I play it a lot. It is really hard though, because I keep losing money. Every time I spend money, I have to balance my budget again, and again, and again. Ugh! Post about this soon.
I have bought one of Carrie Underwood's new songs of her CD, Carnival Ride. The song is All-American Girl. Love it! I hope to buy more soon.
I am involved in a dance group that I made with my friend, Rebekah. We have a show coming up called SmileFest. Since we have already had a SmileFest, this is SmileFest2. It is next Sunday. Click here to go to the Smile Dance Co website.
There is this food-smoothie thing/drink that I am addicted to. It is called Odwalla. So good! It looks and smells pretty gross, but it tastes heavenly. It is really pricey, though, so I can't have it much. Mom says that I like the expensive stuff. Horses, Odwalla, and Salmon. Even the smell of gasoline, because gasoline is so expensive!!!

A Farewell to a Most Talented Musician

This is a post off of my other blog. My friend wrote it. I am Reeses and she is CoCo.

As you know me (CoCo) and Reeses, love Skillet. And, as you know, we like them just the way they are (or used to be).But a thing that was totally unexpected happened a little while ago.

Skillet's drummer (the blond in the picture) is leaving!!!!! Trust me, when I heard this I couldn't believe it. Reeses almost cried!

She is one of the best drummers I have ever listened to. Lately, since I heard about the drummer (Lori Peters) leaving, I have not been able to stop listening to Skillet.

If you just listen to the drums in certain songs, you will hear how good she is.

The drummer that will be taking her place is named Jen Ledger. She is eighteen and we are hoping that she is just as good as Lori, and that we will not be disappointed. -CoCo

When you are in a cheerful mood, it sometimes gets a little too cheerful. Here are some poster/picture things to help you get a little demotivated.

Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Happy New Year!!!!!!

Sorry I can't put up a picture for this. My computer, for some stupid reason, won't let me.

But, y'all CAN be happy about something. It is the New Year!!!!!!!!! I don't usually like the New Year, but lots of other people do, especially the people in New York City about this time. I have a lot of fun at the party my family goes to every year, but there are other things that go with New Year's that aren't so great.

I don't like it as much as other people do because, for some reason, I get attached and used to saying the year number. I wish it wasn't 2008 also because the years are going way too fast for complete enjoyment. Not saying I don't get any enjoyment and happiness out of living, it's just that everything is going WAY TOO FAST FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I guess I'll just have to be happy and make the most of life.
