The (Puppy) Olympics!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so here's the thing. This post is NOT really about the big Olympics in Beijing. It is about the Puppy Olympics!!!!!!!!!!!! It's on Animal Planet, Friday at 6 through 9 pm. Three hours of puppies doing gymnastics, swimming, and whatever other strange things that they are forced to do!!!!!! What bliss!!!!!!!

I am actually more interested in this than the real Olympics, believe it or not. Actually, I am most interested in the equestrian Olympics, and then the puppies. Then the real sprinting, swimming, and all of that boring stuff. Who cares about that anyway? :)

Update on My Life

As of many times before, I do not have anything to write about. I want to write about something, but I can't figure out what. Sheesh.

Because of this, I will just give you an update on my extremely exciting, action packed, life.
Here it is-
I have decided that I don't like summer anymore. This is because all my friends are gone on vacation! What in the world am I to do?
I am once again addicted to the game Virtual Horse Ranch, or VHR for short. The web address is http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/. It is so much fun! If you get an account, which is most unlikely, my nickname on there is jose521. This is so you can look me up and message me.
I have finally bought a Nintendo DS! I have been wanting that for about a year and a half, as aforesaid in one of my other posts. I play it every night for an hour. Wahoo!
Rick the tortoise has moved away from his hole. I think it's because me and my friends came and bothered him so much. I am not exactly heartbroken, as there are four other tortoises that I can visit, although they are not partial to music and iPods. Whatever.
I have found out that I love to make, of all things, posters! I get a big sheet of newsprint paper, and place pictures on it. Then I write something that goes with the theme, and there you go! I made a poster today that had some really good pictures of horses on it, and it said, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." I get sayings like this from catalogs.
I have to go post a picture of Rick on this blog, and I can't think of anything else to write, so ye-ah (how does one say goodbye in a post?). Ummmmmmmmmmm...........
Goodbye!

Indian Blankets!!!!! (the flower, not the blanket...)

So, I have finally switched my favorite flower from Hibiscus to Indian Blanket. I am very proud, because I was telling myself for a long time that "I still love the Hibiscus more than any other flower."
The Hibiscus is really pretty and all, also the bougainvillea is beautiful, but the Indian Blanket beats all by far. I have even switched my profile picture on this blog to an Indian Blanket.
I just wanted to tell everyone who reads this blog that no other flower is as cool as mine, and although you may protest, I stand strong.

The Yip Yip Invasion of Old MacDonald's Farm

So, my dad was showing me the "Yip Yips" from the Muppet Show. I think that they are hilarious. Quite cute, too. I finally figured out how to put videos up here, with my dad's help, so here you go: the Yip Yip invasion of Old MacDonald's Farm.

Awesomeness!!!!!

I was saying in my last post, that I was typing in Hindi, and it is awesome. I was also saying that I bet nobody could understand that, so I would post again with the translation.

Thank you.

SimCity and FRUSTRATION!!!!!

My dad recently installed a computer game called SimCity 4. It is really fun, but he said before he installed it, that when he installs it, we won't be able to use any cheats. Darn!
Now that I play the game, I really wish he hadn't said that. It is so hard to keep one's budget balanced, while trying to expand a city, and make money at the same time!
I have made a city that I call Superawesomecoolville, just to spend a bunch of money on. It is really fun to do that, because one can take out a bunch of loans, and just keep taking them out. Unfortunately, though, the game won't let me take out more than 10 active loans. But, when I am done, or have lost all my money splurging, I destroy my city with a bunch of disasters, then obliterate it. So much fun!
A couple days ago, my dad asked me if I had messed with the settings. On the game, I had only made a new region, so I had no idea what he was talking about. He said that when he made a city on my new region, his citizens, for some reason, didn't need water, or police stations! Hmmmmm.....

This is Ha-ha-larious!!!!! (Ha ha!!!)

I know that I have already posted on how funny Garfield comics are when things are simply removed, but this is halarious!!!! Totally de-garfed Garfield comics. No Garfield or anything. This is the link for more. I love 'em!

p.s. The very last one isn't totally de-garfed, but it doesnt' show Garfield's thoughts. I think it is halarious!!!!!

Bread Totally Rocks!!!!!!!

I wrote this post just because I wanted to put this awesome picture of matzo bread up on my blog. Matzo bread is p-r-e-t-t-y good, too.
I like to write posts on this blog (obviously) and so I go through My Pictures on my family's computer. When I find a pic that I like, I just post it along with some random text that I think up to go with it. Sometimes I can't think of something to write so I just post the picture with something explaining why I just put the picture up (are you following this???). This is one of those times.
Who knew this could be so complicated?
P.S. Does anyone know how to spell matzo bread correctly???? I sure don't know if it has an a or an o at the end.

Some Things to Help You On Your Journey of Life

When you are in a cheerful mood, it sometimes gets a little too cheerful. Here are some poster/picture things to help you get a little demotivated.

Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

My Magazines are Better Than Yours

I am an incredibly "horsey" person. The kind of person who loves "that amazing, horsey smell" and loves cleaning a stall.
I recieve two horse magazines every month. One is called Horse Illustrated and the other is Horse and Rider. They are both excellent magazines, they are both my favorites.
One evening, my brother was having some guys over to play a board game called Diplomacy. It involves secrecy and socialization at the same time, so one would find lots of people around the house, whispering to each other.
I was gathering up my horse magazines, and as I stepped onto the stairs, I found two guys right in front of me. They saw the title of my magazine and laughed. "Horse Illustrated?" One of them inquired (they were both very kind about it). What could I say other than the "yes" that I did? Who knows?
Maybe Sports Illustrated wasn't published before my horse magazine, maybe it was published after? I doubt it. Gosh, can a magazine have a name with "Illustrated" at the end without having people laugh? Guess not! :)

I am Thinking About...

Changing the name of this blog. I don't really like the name any more, so I am taking reccomendations, in case I find one that I like. I will not change it yet, I am just thinking about this. Please give me your ideas!

My Vacation

I had an awesome vacation in Illinois where most of my family lives. We spent one week there. It was totally not enough time to spend with all my friends and family.

When I was at one set of Grandparents' house, my cousins, and my brother played about four games of croquet per day. I think I only played one game. Maybe two.

My cousin (pictured) makes many versions of popular games. He renames them Extreme____. He made some version of Croquet called- you guessed it- Extreme Croquet. It involved hitting the ball across a small road. Wow.

You Won't Believe This

Did you know that a Whippet is supposed to be small and thin? Supposed to be.This Whippet was born with a "defect" called "Double Muscles."

I hope he doesn't get out of control. Tell his owner to keep him spoiled so he doesn't kill everyone in America. Ouch.

He's cool to look at and stuff, but I hope that I never see him in person. I don't usually like big dogs that jump on me-who does?-and whippets are hyper... mmhmm. I'd rather just look at the picture and marvel. At how glad I am that this dog does not live in my house.

I Hope This Outfit Does Not Go Far

This outfit is from a fashion show and I think the people at the show are trying to find the new outfits for the future. So, hopefully, this doesn't go very far.

I don't want to have to go to, let's say McDonald's and try to squeeze me and my huge brass instrument into a booth. Maybe I could have a French Horn instead. That would still be hard because I'd have to carry it everywhere with me when I wear that outfit, but I could possibly sit in a booth.

I don't want to give up my love for sitting in booths. Also, I don't want to burn my skin with the heat of the sun and the instrument. So in the future, I at least hope that I will not be seen in public wearing one of these. (But the pants are awesome.)

This Stuff is Actually Pretty Gross But Some People Want You To Think The Opposite

Have you ever heard about food artists? They literally put make-up on the food for a picture for an ad.

Here you can compare the "Famous KFC Bowl" in the ad with the "Famous KFC Bowl" in real life stuff. I just like to call it the "KFC Bowl of Vomit and Sludge." It is made of like, mashed potatoes on the bottom, chicken or turkey, I think and then three kinds of cheeses on the top. Oh, there is gravy somewhere in there, too!

I have read in a magazine that some people stuff a chicken with paper towels to make it look full of stuffing. Then, they make it look like it is roasted perfectly by adding on detailed lines made by eyeliner. And to make bubbles in milk stay put, they stir up some sort of glue concoction then place it in choice spots all around the glass. What really makes me wonder is that it takes about 1 or 2 hours to take a picture of food for an ad. Weird.

Funny Gas Pics

Gas is pretty expensive lately. I found this picture on the My Pictures part of my computer so I just thought I'd use it for one of my posts.

The question is: Is this thing real? Or is it just something else like an Internet trick thing that you can do? I don't know, but I think it's pretty funny.

At this gas station you must see some rich people hopping around on a peg leg alongside their nice cars that only take premium gas. Another question for this: Do they have a surgery room in the back? :)
